We follow a standardized shipment procedure to keep your order transparent and controllable from production to delivery:

Order Lead Time

Production lead time is separate from international transit time：

‑ Standard in‑stock hot melt adhesive: 7-15 working days upon order confirmation and payment.

‑ Custom & OEM adhesive formulas: 7-15 working days, depending on order quantity.

Please note: production time excludes shipping transit days, weekends and Chinese public holidays. We will confirm exact production and shipment schedule in your formal PI.

Sea Freight FCL / LCL

Best choice for large bulk hot melt adhesive orders. Transit time: 20‑40 days, subject to destination port conditions.

Customer‑assigned forwarder

You may send your own freight forwarder to pick up goods from our Shanghai warehouse under EXW terms.

International Express DHL / FedEx / UPS

Suitable for small trial orders and adhesive sample delivery. Transit time: 3‑7 working days.

Air Freight

For time‑sensitive urgent orders. Transit time: 5‑10 working days.

The agreed trade term must be finalized and clearly stated on your proforma invoice prior to production.

FAQ

Do you have any special shipping restrictions for hot melt adhesive shipments?

Hot melt adhesive is classified as general industrial goods, not dangerous goods. Still, some countries impose special import regulations on chemical‑related products. Please share your destination country in advance, and we will double‑check relevant import requirements for you.

What happens if port congestion or customs inspection delays my cargo arrival?

Port congestion, random customs inspections and local logistics fluctuations are beyond our control. We will keep tracking cargo status and offer all document support, yet we cannot take responsibility for resulting delays. We advise placing orders ahead of your actual demand.

Is there a minimum order quantity for sea‑freight shipping?

There is no strict MOQ from our side. However LCL sea freight brings relatively high unit logistics cost for small‑volume orders. Our sales team will suggest the most cost‑effective shipping solution based on your order volume.

Can you arrange shipment if my order contains both stock and customized hot melt adhesive items?

Yes. We can separate shipments or combine them according to your requirement. Partial shipment service is available when stock‑ready goods and custom goods have different completion times.

How long in advance should I place my order to avoid stock‑out risk for my production line

Besides production and transit cycle, you need to reserve extra buffer time for possible port and customs hold‑ups. We suggest placing orders 4‑6 weeks ahead of your material consumption time for sea freight orders.

Can you mark private‑label branding on shipping cartons and pallets for my bulk shipment?

Custom shipping‑mark printing on cartons and pallets is supported for bulk orders. Please provide your marking requirements when confirming the PI, before we start packaging work.

What should I do if I receive partial damaged goods after arrival?

Please take photos and record damage evidence at the time of cargo receiving. Submit survey report from local forwarder or inspection agency. We will cooperate fully for insurance claim procedures, subject to cargo insurance coverage.

Are there extra hidden logistics fees I need to be aware of?

All costs on our quotation are clearly listed. Any local charges arising at destination side such as port surcharges, customs inspection fees are charged by local authorities or forwarders, these are not included within our quotation unless agreed in writing.

Can you hold finished goods in your warehouse for a period before shipment?

Short‑term free warehouse storage is available for finished orders. Long‑term storage will generate warehousing fees. Please inform us your expected shipment date early once production is finished.

What if I need to change my destination port or delivery address after order production starts?

Address changes are feasible only before goods complete export customs declaration. Once customs clearance is finished and goods are onboard, destination modification will incur expensive additional logistics costs, so please confirm delivery information at quotation phase.
