Product Storage and Usage Guidelines

Storage Conditions

Store and transport thermal adhesives at temperatures between 6℃ and 35℃, avoiding sunlight. Exposure to temperatures below 6℃ may alter the adhesive’s molecular structure, leading to performance degradation or failure. Adopting the “first – in – first – out” principle is advisable to prevent product expiration. Under normal storage conditions, the product has a shelf life of 6 months. After opening, seal the remaining adhesive properly. When disposing of the product, comply with local laws and regulations.

Usage Instructions

Before using the product, carefully read the “Product Technical Manual” and “Product Safety Manual”. Select the appropriate model based on your needs and wear the required personal protective equipment. Always conduct preliminary tests before full – scale production and confirm the results before proceeding. When changing materials, testing is also necessary before use. Additionally, pay attention to the material’s surface conditions, such as surface energy, ink layer thickness, varnish layer thickness, and film corona value. If the material quality is sub – standard, corrective measures like edge grinding or plasma treatment should be taken.

Temperature and Adhesive Activity

The activity of thermal adhesives varies with temperature, being more active between 15℃ and 20℃. In winter, storing the adhesive in an environment above 20℃ one day before use can enhance its effectiveness.

Stirring andution Dil

After opening a new container of adhesive, thorough stirring is essential. Under current temperature conditions, the adhesive may produce water vapor, which condenses on the container lid. During logistics, this water vapor can form droplets that may drip onto the adhesive’s surface, causing it to become thinner. Do not add water to the adhesive yourself. If dilution is needed, consult our engineer first.

Equipment and Operation

During use, the team leader should continuously monitor the adhesive level in the glue tank and the adhesive application on the products to prevent issues like no adhesive or uneven application. If the equipment stops for over 20 minutes, drain the glue tank, clean and dry it. It is recommended to use compressed air for drying to avoid residual moisture. If this proves difficult, wrap the glue tank with plastic film to prevent the adhesive from being exposed to air for extended periods, which can cause skin formation and affect subsequent production.

Bonding and Drying

Glued boxes require sufficient pressing time, preferably over 20 minutes, to ensure adequate contact between the adhesive particles and the bonding surfaces. The pressing time for coated products should also be extended. Furthermore, sufficient curing time is necessary for the moisture in the adhesive to fully evaporate and the adhesive particles to function effectively. In summer, a curing time of over 12 hours is suggested, while in winter, over 24 hours is recommended to prevent moisture from freezing before complete drying. Note that this product should not be mixed with other similar products or solvents. It is advisable to use the adhesive within 24 hours after opening and keep it sealed at all times.

Special Reminders

This product is non – edible and should be kept out of children’s reach. It is non – toxic, harmless, and not flammable or explosive. If it accidentally splashes on clothes or skin, rinse immediately with clean water. If ingested or enters the eyes, seek medical attention right away.
